Rajshri Deshpande is getting praise from her coworkers and followers for her moving performance as a bereaved parent in the Netflix series Trial By Fire. She portrays Neelam Krishnamoorty, a tragic character who loses her children in the Uphaar cinema fire tragedy along with her husband Shekhar (Abhay Deol). The actor recently discussed how Shah Rukh Khan supported her during the COVID-19 pandemic on Thursday. She also stated that she wanted to collaborate with him.

The performer tweeted, “With his @MeerFoundation crew, @iamsrk assisted me in helping Marathwada, Kerala, and Chhattisgarh during COVID. We were also mentioned today as the top performers of January by @FilmCompanion! I have no idea when I’ll run into King Khan. However, I will always imagine working with him!” During the COVID-19 pandemic, Rajshri—a native of Aurangabad, Maharashtra—had assisted physicians and people in need of medical supplies. She received assistance from Shah Rukh’s philanthropic organization, the Meer Foundation, with necessities like PPE kits.

Rajshri also shared how Shah Rukh had helped her out during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Fans on Twitter responded to her wish to collaborate with Shah Rukh by writing, “I hope he hears you, he chose who he wants to work with.” We’ll manifest for you, another retorted. Good fortune. “For the sheer potential you possess, the day is not far,” said yet another admirer.

In addition to Trial By Fire, Rajshri is well known for her performances in Sacred Games, in which she portrayed the part of Subhadra, the wife of Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Gaitonde, and The Fame Game, in which Madhuri Dixit was the star. She made her acting debut in the 2012 film Talaash by Reema Kagti, which also starred Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor. Her breakout performance was in Pan Nalin’s 2015 Toronto International Film Festival entry Angry Indian Goddesses, which finished as the first runner up for the People’s Choice Award.

Additionally, she played the writer Ismat Chughtai in Nandita Das’s Manto and Sanal Kumar Shashidharan’s award-winning Malayalam film S Durga.
