After their controversial exit from ABC, Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes are getting ready to make a big splash when they return.

A source told RadarOnline that “some of the best television double acts have been lovers,” adding that the couple “aren’t done with television and remain sure another network or cable channel will see the worth in their undeniable connection.”

The two’s comeback, however, may be delayed as their staff counsel them to choose the best moment to introduce their genuine romance.

“They’re being urged by managers to wait for the next round of syndicated television pitches to present to buyers a new format that would rival their old slot at ABC,” the insider disclosed.

Given their history at the ABC, several people were surprised by the decision, but the highly-placed insider is optimistic about their return.

“Can they pull it off? Stranger things have happened.” they laughed. “Daytime television is a different ballgame these days, and TJ and Amy have what it takes. They are not too scarred from the scandal.”

The ratings decline caused by the exits of Robach and T.J. Holmes is said to be hurting Good Morning America’s performance.

The GMA3 ratings have plummeted since the couple left the discussion show, claims Animated Times.

Nevertheless, other coworkers breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing of Robach and Holmes’ departure from GMA3.

Insiders told Entertainment Tonight that the couple’s coworkers were “not surprised” by their exit from the network.
