Bebe Rexha says she will ‘never’ date a musician

While promoting her new track Heart Wants What It Wants, the 33-year-old Say My Name singer talked openly about her romantic life.

She stated that three things are necessary in a relationship: honesty, trust, and happiness. The musician maintained that her potential companion will be in a different line of work.

“There have been guys though, in the industry that have tried,” she shared. “I tried going on a date in the past, like, you know, and I was like, ‘This is not going to happen. This is not going to work for me… It’s just too much.’”

The headlining act for this year’s Kids’ Choice Awards is singer Bebe Rexha.

Rexha will perform “I’m Good (Blue),” a Grammy-nominated song she co-wrote with David Guetta, which has become a worldwide success.

“I’ve always loved the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards! I can’t wait to perform and see who gets slimed.”

In 2013, an American singer-songwriter joined Warner Records. She gained writing credit for the song “The Monster” by Eminem, which went on to win the Grammy for Best Rap/Sung Performance. She has also contributed to the songwriting for songs by Shinee, Selena Gomez, and Nick Jonas.

The singles “I Can’t Stop Drinking About You” and “I’m Gonna Show You Crazy” from Rexha’s debut extended play, I Don’t Wanna Grow Up, had a respectable amount of mainstream success.

While promoting her new song, “Heart Wants What It Wants,” the 33-year-old chanteuse talked openly about her romantic life and shared what she was now looking for.

She stated that three things are necessary in a relationship: honesty, trust, and happiness. Evidently, her potential companions must likewise work in a separate field.

Bebe said to ET Canada that she had “never” dated another musician and that she had no interest in doing so.

“There have have been guys though, in the industry that have tried,” she shared. “I tried going on a date in the past, like, you know, and I was like, ‘This is not going to happen. This is not going to work for me… It’s just too much.’”
