Diego Calva to star in On Swift Horses

• The movie “On Fast Horses” has cast Diego Calva.
• The movie will feature some “very hot sequences” between Diego and Elordi.
• The Mexican actor is eager to embark on another Hollywood production.

Daisy Edgar-Jones, Jacob Elordi, Will Poulter, and Sasha Calle will all be starring alongside the actor, 30, in Daniel Minahan’s movie.

Following newlyweds Muriel (Edward-Jones) and Lee (Poulter), who are beginning a new life when he returns home from the Korean War, the film is based on the Shannon Pufahl novel of the same name.

When Lee’s charming younger brother Julius (Elordi), a wayward gambler with a dark secret, shows around, their stability is jeopardised, and a perilous love triangle quickly develops.

The movie will feature some “very hot sequences” between Diego and Elordi, according to a teaser from Diego.

The ‘Babylon’ star said: “It was so cool to work with him. He’s obsessed with photography, he’s obsessed with old plays.

“He loves Tennessee Williams, he loves Chekhov. He’s not the guy you maybe think he is. He’s such a cool actor. He’s just amazing. I feel very proud.”

Diego continued: “I don’t know if I can say this but we are going to have pretty hot scenes in this movie… You have to wait. But I think it will be a pretty cool movie.”

The Mexican actor is eager to embark on another Hollywood production before going home to produce movies.

He said: “I feel very proud. It’s my second lead character in an American movie.

“Daniel Minahan, the director, created some of my favourite series, including ‘Six Feet Under,’ ‘Game of Thrones,’ ‘House of Cards,’ and ‘House of Cards. Together with Sasha Calle, Daisy Edgar-Jones, and Jacob Elordi, I also act. Let’s wait and see.

“And after that, go back to Mexico and make movies there.”
