Sania Mirza sends pictures to her family from Medina

• Tennis ace Sania Mirza has travelled to Medina ahead of Ramadan to offer prayers along with her family.
• Sania held Anam’s daughter in her arms in the next photo while looking at her lovingly.
• Sania also posted a selfie from Medina.

Sania Mirza, a world-class tennis player, has traveled to Medina ahead of Ramadan to pray with her family. On Tuesday, Sania posted a number of pictures to Instagram that also featured her son Izhaan Mirza Malik, his parents, cricketer Mohammed Asaduddin, and sister Anam Mirza. In the first picture, Sania and her son are smiling as they look at each other.

In the following photograph, Sania looked lovingly at Anam’s daughter while holding her in her arms. Additionally, Sania uploaded a Medina selfie.

In one of the pictures, Sania posed with her parents, Imran and Asaduddin, while Anam took a selfie. While mountains could be seen in the distance, they stood on a field. Sania also posted a mirror selfie from her hotel room, in which Imran was standing in front of his mother and Anam was in her arms. Medina, Saudi Arabia, was the location that she geotagged.

“Allhamdulillah (palms up together emoji) May Allah accept our prayers,” Sania posted alongside the images. Irfan Pathan responded with “Ameen.” In the section of the comments, Huma Qureshi included a number of heart emojis. “May Allah accept all your duas!” said Rakshanda Khan.

Sania was also asked about Shoaib Malik, her cricketer husband. “Where is Shoaib Malik?” was a comment. Only that Shoaib brother is not in it,” an Instagram user wrote.

Online rumors about Sania and Shoaib’s divorce surfaced last year. Shoaib and Sania’s 12-year marriage was allegedly ended, according to numerous reports. Since their wedding in 2010, the couple has resided in Dubai. In 2018, they welcomed Izhaan. They were seen hosting The Mirza Malik Show on Urduflix amid the rumors.

On Tuesday, Anam, in addition to Sania, uploaded a number of images to her Instagram account. “There is indescribable peace and joy here!” she wrote. It means a lot to be here. Thank you, Alhamdulillah, @alkhalidtours, for organizing this for us!”

Sania’s pilgrimage comes just a few weeks after she said goodbye to tennis in Hyderabad earlier this month. Mahesh Babu, Namrata Shirodkar, AR Rahman, Dulquer Salmaan, Huma Qureshi, and Diana Penty, among others, attended a city-wide farewell party.
