Prince Harry leaves King Charles “disappointed”

King Charles has reportedly harbored reservations about Prince Harry since the moment of his birth, as it is said that the current monarch had hoped for a daughter instead.

These revelations have emerged in an excerpt from an upcoming documentary. It’s worth noting that the original recordings were made by Princess Diana herself, intended for her biographer Andrew Morton during the creation of his book titled “Diana: Her True Story.”

Preview snippets of this documentary have been shared in advance of its release, unveiling startling insights attributed to King Charles regarding his son, Prince Harry, shortly after the prince’s birth.

The admission was reportedly made during Prince Harry’s christening in 1984. At that time, King Charles confided in Princess Diana’s mother, Frances Shand Kydd, expressing his desire for a girl child and reportedly stating, “We’re so disappointed, we thought it would be a girl.”

Frances, at that moment, is said to have tersely responded by reminding him of the importance of gratitude and saying, “Realize you are lucky to have a child.”

For those who may not be aware, the documentary is set to be released around the same time as the first anniversary of Queen Elizabeth’s passing.
