After the drugs scandal surfaced in Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has launched an explosive crackdown against the use of drugs in Bollywood. After several high-profile celebrities came under the NCB’s radar, Deepika Padukone seems to be the next one in line.
Deepika has come on the NCB’s scanner after a WhatsApp conversation dating October 2018 between the Deepika and her manager surfaced online. In the conversation, she is asking for hash and wants her manager to bring it to posh Mumbai club called Koko, where she was enjoying.
In the conversation, Deepika is asking for ‘Maal’ and referring to Weed and Hash from Karishma Prakash of Kwan Talent Management Company. Interestingly on the same day while have conversation Karishma asked the actress when will she reach Koko, Deepika responded around 11.30-12.
Koko is a spot of parties in Mumbai and several VIPs visit the place to hang out together. The chats are dated October 28, 2017, and on the same night there was a party at Koko which was attended by Sidharth Malhotra, Deepika, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha, and others.
Koko club had also posted the pictures of the party after two days on their Facebook page. The big question here is that did Deepika ask for drugs from Karishma for party at Koko? What actually happened at the Halloween theme party held at Koko on that night?
According to some sources, the 2017 party at Koko club has come under the radar of the investigative agencies and the NCB is likely to examine the footage from the party.
The NCB has also hinted to summon Deepika Padukone in order to seek more information on the use of drugs in the Bollywood industry.
After Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan’s name, actress Deepika Padukone happens to be next on NCB lens.
