Will Jaya Bachchan be returning to Bollywood screens?

Jaya Bachchan, wife of the Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, a senior actress and a member of the upper house of the Indian Parliament (Rajya Sabha), will be working in films again after a long hiatus.

If these rumors are true, then Jaya Bachchan will be acting in a film directed by Gajendra Ahire. Jaya Bachchan is very keen on working in films, but neither Jaya Bachchan nor Gajendra Ahire have made any official announcement in this regard so far.

Gajendra Ahire, who mostly makes films in Marathi language, has been mute about this matter. He has made more than fifty Marathi films. However, it has not been confirmed whether the film mentioned with Jaya Bachchan will be in Hindi, Marathi or a multi-language film.

Jaya’s husband Amitabh Bachchan has already acted in the Marathi-language film ‘AB Aani CD’ last year, while Jaya Bachchan last worked with Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor in the film (Ki & Ka) in 2016. ۔
