Alia Bhatt and young fans sing Kesariya for Ranbir Kapoor

At the celebration on Friday, Ranbir Kapoor, who turned 40 on September 28, also cut a cake and observed his birthday. Ranbir cut the cake while Alia sang Kesariya from Brahmastra, and the students joined in. A video of the interaction, in which Alia, Ranbir, and Ayan can also be seen taking selfies with the students, was published on a fan page.

Another video from the event, posted on Instagram by a paparazzo account, showed fans and Alia having a lovely moment. The journalist pointed at Ranbir as she said, “After introducing Ayan Mukerji, “You know who that is,” but all the fans shouted Alia’s name in response. Alia reacted by saying to Ranbir, “Nice to meet you Alia, looking hot.”

As they left the venue, Ranbir was also seen escorting Alia to their car while supporting her by her shoulders. The first child for Ranbir and Alia, who wed in April of this year, is on the way.

They first appeared on screen together in Brahmastra, which hit theaters on September 9. Alia earlier had a cameo appearance in the Ranbir-starring film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, but she did not share a frame with him. When they collaborated on Brahmastra in 2017, the two got together and began dating.
Ayan’s intended trilogy begins with Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva, which also features Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna. The second installment, Brahmastra Part 2: Dev, will hit theaters in 2025, according to the filmmaker.
