With Jawan, Atlee will make his Bollywood film debut. Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Yogi Babu, and Priyamani are among the other Tamil actors who appear in the movie. According to reports, cameo appearances by Vijay and Deepika Padukone in the future movie are also possible. Now, a producers’ council has received a complaint about filmmaker Atlee for plagiarism. The plot of the Shah Rukh Khan movie, which debuted in 2006, has allegedly been compared to that of Vijayakanth’s Perarasu.

According to a report on Friday, producer Manikam Narayanan had complained to the TFPC over Atlee, claiming that the plots of the Jawaan and Perarasu were identical. After November 7, it was added, TFPC board members will look into the complaint made by Manikam Narayanan. The story’s rights are supposedly owned by producer Manickam Narayanan.

In the movie Perarasu, Vijayakanth played the twin brothers Perarasu and Ilavarasu. In Jawaan, Shah Rukh Khan is apparently also playing two characters, however, the producers have not yet acknowledged this. One of the most prominent directors of recent Tamil cinema, Atlee, has also been accused of plagiarism in the past.

Manirathnam allegedly compared his first movie, Raja Rani, to Mouna Ragam. His third film Mersal was likened to Kamal Haasan’s Aboorva Sagotharargal, while his second film Theri was compared to Chathriyan. Bigil, Atlee’s most recent movie, was contrasted with Chak De India and other movies.
