Aparshakti Khurana dream to watch a live match at FIFA world cup

Aparshakti Khurana returned from Qatar with FIFA fever. The actor enjoyed watching a world cup match live and intends to attend the finals. The actor is glad his work schedule allowed him to visit Qatar for the FIFA event.

“The vibe was beyond words. I have been a fan of football since forever and FIFA being the biggest sporting ever was always on my bucket list. To finally be able to see my dream come true was thrilling,”  I’ve always loved football, so FIFA was on my bucket list. Khurana was thrilled to see her dream come true.

The 35-year-old says,  “FIFA has always been on my bucket list but somehow that plan never came to fruition, either because of work or personal commitments but I am glad 2022 is the year when it did! I think the high point for me was the wonder goal from Richarlison among others”.  Richarlison’s miraculous goal was a highlight.

Khurana travelled to Qatar with neighbours, not family. Now he’s back at work and trying to attend the final game.  “I was there with a neighbour of mine this time but maybe next time, my wife and daughter can come along the next time”.”I went with a neighbour this time, but my wife and daughter can come next time,” he says.

I had two or three days free and ran to Doha,” adds the actor, who found his accommodation easily.

He’s backing Argentina in the world cup. Favourite. “It is my favourite. So definitely supporting the team,”  “I’m always Team Messi,” he says.

“The FIFA this year is more nerve-wracking I would say as compared to the previous world cups. It’s also more challenging but then that makes it even exciting to watch,” he says.

“I am back to work in India now and leaving for Sri Lanka in a couple of days for another shoot but I do want to go back to watch the finals and I hope everything aligns well for that”. he says.
