Govinda Naam Mera (Vicky Kaushal) dates Suku (Kiara Advani). Stepbrother and stepmother enter the love triangle to take their father’s bungalow. Property dispute kills and steals. Killer? The song addresses questions.

Govinda Naam Mera draws you inside Govinda Waghmare’s world. The final 20 minutes of the film are powerful. Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani, Bhumi Pednekar, Amey Wagh, Sayaji Shinde, Dayanand Shetty, Viraj Ghelani, and Renuka Shahane give the plot optimism.

Amey Wagh has humorous jokes. Bijli’s Ranbir Kapoor is entertaining.

Govinda Naam Mera‘s plot is uninteresting. Shashank Khaitan’s ending is uninteresting. You don’t like Govinda. The humour works in a few places, but the story lacks laughs.

Subplots offer intrigue, but also distract. Veteran actors are underused. The thriller begins midway through the film’s first half. Govinda Naam Mera’s endings leave you craving more clashes. The finale lacked tension and humour.

Vicky Kaushal plays Govinda well in the commercial comedy Govinda Naam Mera, despite looking uncomfortable in some shots. Vicky may appear in Hindi commercial potboilers. Kiara Advani’s acting is notable. The jail scene is amazing. Bhumi Pednekar’s dominant wife is shallow. Amey Wagh’s antiques resemble Ritesh Deshmukh’s. Viraj Ghelani’s over-the-top Jeeva is entertaining. Sayaji Shinde and Dayanand Shetty stink. Ranbir Kapoor looks great.

Govinda Naam Mera’s story comes together in the last 20 minutes. The movie mixes commercial and dark humour, but neither works.
