Kriti Sanon and Prabhas news about getting engaged is not true

Kriti Sanon, who previously refuted allegations that she was dating Prabhas, is reportedly engaged soon. The allegations have been refuted by Prabhas’ team in response to the rumours. In their upcoming movie, Adipurush, Kriti, and Prabhas will co-star.

Umair Sandhu, a self-described film critic, started it all by tweeting, “BREAKING NEWS: #KritiSanon & #Prabhas will get engaged next week in Maldives!! So Happy for them.”  Prior to the publication of the Adipurush teaser, dating speculation between Kriti and Prabhas began to surface. By implying that Kriti and Varun Dhawan were dating, the two actors who collaborated on the film Bhediya further stoked the fire. Prabhas was left off the list, nevertheless.

When such claims were made back then, Kriti vehemently denied them; nonetheless, Prabhas’ team responded to rumours of engagement this time. “Prabhas and Kriti are just friends. The news about them getting engaged is not true.”

Varun Dhawan had previously been asked by Karan Johar to suggest suitable single women from the Hindi film industry on a show. “Kriti ka naam isiliye nahi tha kyunki Kriti ka naam kisi ke dil me hai. Ek aadmi hai jo Mumbai me nahi hai, vo iss waqt shooting kar raha hai Deepika (Padukone) ke saath. (Kriti’s name is not here because her name is in someone’s heart. That man is not in Mumbai because right now he is shooting with Deepika).”

Later, Kriti stated on her Instagram Stories, “It’s neither pyaar (love), nor PR.. our Bhediya just went a little too wild on a reality show. And his fun banter lead to some Howl-arious rumours (woman facepalming emoji). Before some portal announces my wedding date-let me burst your bubble. The rumours are ABSOLUTELY baseless! (folded hands and shrug emoji).”

In the meantime, Om Raut is the director of Adipurush, which is produced by T Series and Retrophiles. The movie is expected to premiere on June 16, 2023. The epic Ramayana is the basis for the movie. Saif Ali Khan plays Lankesh, the movie’s antagonist, while Prabhas plays Lord Ram. Sunny Singh will play Lakshman, and Kriti will play Janaki.
