The Elephant Whisperers, a documentary by Guneet Monga that received an Oscar 2023 nomination, was reviewed by actor Priyanka Chopra. On Tuesday, Priyanka published a poster for the movie on her Instagram Stories. She tagged the documentary crew in an additional post.
She wrote, “A trunk-filled with emotions! One of the most heartwarming documentaries I’ve watched recently…loved it! Big shout out to @kartikigonsalves @guneetmonga for bringing this amazing story to life (red heart emoji).”

Together with Haul Out, How Do You Measure A Year, The Martha Mitchell Effect, and Stranger At The Gate, The Elephant Whisperers is up for an Academy Award in the category of Documentary Short Film. In Tamil Nadu’s Mudumalai Tiger Reserve, a family adopts two infant orphan elephants, which serves as the central theme of the story.
