Ranveer Singh was seen spending time with basketball players

Ranveer Singh participated in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game on Friday before watching the remainder of the weekend. The actor was spotted socializing with Marvel actors Jonathan Majors, Michael B Jordan, Simu Liu, and Shaquille O’Neal, as well as director Spike Lee and former basketball players Karl Malone, Reggie Miller, and Shaquille O’Neal. He posted pictures of the people he met on his Instagram Stories. The brand ambassador for NBA India is Ranveer.

Ranveer participated in the celebrity game on Friday for Dwayne Wade, a former Miami Heat player. Simu Liu, actor Janelle Monae, comedian Hasan Minhaj, and tennis player Frances Tiafoe made up Team Dwayne, who ultimately defeated Team Ryan 81 to 78. Later, at the game on Saturday, he was seen hanging out with teammates Simu and Hasan.

The actor wore a yellow T-shirt, a pink puffy jacket, blue slacks, and a blue cap. He was dressed in vibrant colours. He was sporting footwear in neon green. Ranveer had the chance to speak with actor-director Ben Affleck on the court while he was competing on Friday. Ben had come to the game to witness it while promoting his next Prime Video movie, Air.

Ranveer had told, “I have been a basketball fan since I was a child. It is one of the most electrifying sports in the world and NBA stars have been shaping pop culture for decades now. From Michael Jordan to Allen Iverson to LeBron James, the NBA has developed a unique culture within its players and fans. The players’ impact on and off the court is something that I admire.”

Ranveer played two roles in 2022’s Jayeshbhai Jordaar and Cirkus. The box office performance of both movies was poor. The Rohit Shetty-directed film Cirkus is currently available on Netflix.

The actor will once again work with Gully Boy (2019) co-star Alia Bhatt in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. In the musical romance Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, renowned performers Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi also appear. June 2023 will see the film’s release.
