Raveena Tandon is referred to as “arrogant”

One of the most well-known actors of the 1990s, Raveena Tandon is best known for playing the lead in blockbuster films like Andaz Apna Apna, Dulhe Raja, Anari No. 1, and Mohra, among many others. The actress just received the Padma Shri Award from the Indian government. The actress has maintained an open dialogue about her personal life, career, and even personal rumors throughout her nearly three-decade-long and successful career. The actress gave a list of prerequisites for performing unpleasant parts in movies in a recent interview.

She admitted in an interview that she would decline any task that would make her uncomfortable performing in front of the camera. She would establish boundaries in advance for acting out these scenes. She listed everything from kissing to wearing swimwear. However, because of her condition, she had to pass on numerous films and was criticized by directors as being “arrogant.” She disclosed that she was initially approached to star in Karisma Kapoor’s debut movie Prem Qaidi, but she declined because of a scene in which the protagonist pulls down the dress’ zipper, exposing the strap.

The actor of “Tip Tip Barsa Pani” revealed, “I used to be uncomfortable with a lot of things. For example, dance steps. If I was uncomfortable with something I would say listen I am not comfortable with this step. I would not do the step. I didn’t want to wear swimming costumes, and I didn’t do kissing scenes. So I had my fundas. I was the only actress who had a couple of rape scenes with not even one tear in the dress. All my clothes used to be fully intact.”

When she made her Bollywood debut in 1991 with “Patthar Ke Phool,” the actress recognized for her beauty and sensuality won the Filmfare Award for New Face of the Year. In 2021, Raveena made her OTT platform debut with the suspense series “Aranyak.” She most recently appeared with Sanjay Dutt in Ghudchadi, and Arbaaz Khan will portray her in Patna Shukla.
