Swara Bhasker thanked Raveena Tandon for engagement wishes

Swara Bhasker made her engagement to Samajwadi Party chief Fahad Ahmad public last week. Also, the couple disclosed that their wedding would happen in March. The occupied soon-to-be bride has since responded to people who gave her congratulations on social media. She had already expressed gratitude to Kangana Ranaut, her co-star in Tanu Weds Manu (2011), and on Tuesday, she expressed gratitude to Raveena Tandon.

On Tuesday, Swara was included in a selfie sent to Twitter by Raveena Tandon. She wrote this to Swara: “Wishing you all happiness on your new beginning @ReallySwara! Stay blessed. Congratulations!”The two actors grinned and made the peace sign gesture in the photographs. While Swara opted for a beige shirt and big silver earrings, Raveena donned a patterned black top.

In a short while, Swara responded to Raveena and said, “Thank you sooooooo much Raveena jiiiiiii! Lots of love (hugs, purple hearts and folded hands emojis).” The two appear to have socialised at gatherings even though they haven’t collaborated on any movies or TV shows.

Swara announced her engagement on Twitter on February 17 and included images of herself and Fahad signing the documents to officially register their marriage. She had penned, “Three cheers for the #SpecialMarriageAct (despite notice period etc.) At least it exists & gives love a chance… The right to love, the right to choose your life partner, the right to marry, the right to agency these should not be a privilege.@FahadZirarAhmad.”

The popular sequel KGF: Chapter 2 was Raveena’s last Kannada film debut. She is also collaborating with Sanjay Dutt on the movie Ghudchadi. During her Netflix web series Aranyak’s upcoming third season, the actor is anticipated to return.

Swara will soon be seen in the major motion picture Mrs. Falan. She last appeared with Meher Vij, Pooja Chopra, and Shikha Talsania in the movie Jahaan Chaar Yaar. In 2009, the actor made her feature film debut in Madholal Keep Walking. Her performances in the movies Guzaarish, Tanu Weds Manu, Raanjhanaa, Nil Battey Sannata, and Veere Di Wedding helped her gain fame later on.
