One of Bollywood’s most popular actors, Suniel Shetty, is now preparing for the premiere of his next series, Hunter. Fans are quite anxious to see the actor make a comeback in his action persona and perform some great stunts.

He will be portrayed in the series as an ACP officer who turns out to be a killer who has fled the scene. Suniel recently had a heart-to-heart chat with Pinkvilla and discussed his series during that time.

He also revealed the development of action heroes, his reunion with Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar in Hera Pheri 3, and other details.

Suniel was also spotted responding to several fan queries throughout the interview. One of his followers questioned him about why he wasn’t pursuing the action genre as much as he did in the 1990s. a supporter enquired, “60-plus actors like Tom Cruise are still doing deadly stunts. So why is it that you have slowed down in the action space now like in the 90s? Is it because the directors don’t have a vision for good action today?” Suniel responded in an odd way: “Bhai Hunter dekh le, then let’s see what he says. Tom Cruise ko bolo try karne (laughs).”

Suniel further mentioned how the crowd praised Pathaan by Shah Rukh Khan and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar by Ranbir Kapoor. He was questioned about how the audience’s affection had changed over time and whether social media had made it easier to access.

Suniel said, “Real love is when the audience goes to the theatre. Real love is a Pathaan; Real love is Ranbir’s film now (Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar), getting the kind of love with the audiences that want to pay to see them. That is also probably because they are not very available. Rarely does a Shah Rukh come out or Ranbir get out in public places. So that charm is very much intact. Rest is a lot of self PR happening, lot of buying the media that’s happening which is just something that tells today or tomorrow.”
