Zoë Saldaña 44-year-old Guardians of the Galaxy star admitted in an interview for InStyle’s Winter 2022 digital issue that working with Marvel can occasionally be challenging because of its stringent anti-leak policies. As a result, she sometimes receives a script just hours before she is scheduled to shoot.

Zoë remarked, “That can be annoying occasionally. “That’s not cool since it requires memorization, preparation, and research. And I sometimes have a tendency to take myself a bit too seriously.”

previously ran into controversy after she posted a video of herself dressed as Gamora and looking through a binder that Marvel thought required to be kept under wraps. She finally removed the original video from February and uploaded a new one, this time covering the papers with highlighter marks.

“Due to Marvel Security, I had to take this down previously. I’ve covered the information they don’t want you to know, so let’s concentrate on the Mate!!!!! “Instagram video captioned by Saldaa.

Working with directors that respect my intelligence and recognise that I am an adult is something Saldana says she really enjoys. “I’ll keep my distance. I must have these scripts under my supervision since it is just as crucial for me as it is for him or her.”

Saldaña claimed that despite this, there are benefits to the profession, such as the fact that her children, 5-year-old Zen and the 8-year-old twins Bowie and Cy, can brag about her.

She adds of her youngest kid, “I see how he’s trying to place me in his head like, ‘Okay, you’re Mama, but you’re also Gamora. They will see these films, and that will be a part of what they enjoy and find exciting.

It’s amazing, enjoyable, and it gives me street cred with my kids, she continues.

In a recent interview with Women’s Wear Daily, Saldaa added that while she was appreciative of the chance to work on franchise movies, it didn’t help her develop as an artist.

“I feel as though I have been stuck for the past ten years of my life. I felt obligated to work these franchises, “Saldaa said to the source. “I’m extremely appreciative of the chances they gave me, including working with incredible directors, getting to know cast members I now consider friends, and getting to portray a part that people, especially kids, adore,” she said.

But it also meant that I felt creatively limited in my craft because I was unable to diversify, advance, or challenge myself by taking on various genres and roles, she continued.

In order to broaden her portfolio, the actress has worked on non-franchise projects including David O. Russell’s ensemble crime drama Amsterdam and her most recent Netflix series From Scratch, which she also produced.

Saldaa told the publication, “I’m very glad that I’m able to work with filmmakers, producers, and other individuals in this profession who want that for women, who want women to be ageless, and who don’t fetishize women’s youth. “It is therefore intriguing. It’s quite fascinating.”
