‘Did Destroy My Career ‘Sharon Stone Says Backlash Over AIDS’

• According to Sharon Stone, she gave up her job to further HIV/AIDS research.
• At the Red Sea Film Festival in Saudi Arabia on Friday, Stone stated, “I had quite huge shoes to fill with Elizabeth Talyor at amfAR. If you do this, it would damage your career.”
• Following a misdiagnosis, doctors discovered a “Large Fibroid Tumor” in Sharon Stone’s body.

However, the Flight Attendant actress stated she has no regrets and cited the 40 million people who died of AIDS prior to the invention of antiretroviral drugs as evidence.

Stone added somberly, “Now 37 million are living with HIV AIDS, living functioning and well.”
