Dwayne Johnson reveals the news about Black Adam. It has been a difficult few weeks for fans of the DC Universe as a major reorganization is underway, signaling a new beginning for the comic book company. Sadly, the beginning of this new chapter has meant the painful loss of some of the universe’s most cherished legacies. Unfortunately, it appears like Teth Adam will not be appearing again for a short (or long) period. Dwayne Johnson fought for 15 years to get his anti-hero epic, Black Adam, a spot on the silver screen. The Hollywood icon has sent a message informing followers of what happened to Khandaq’s protector.

“My passionate friends, I wanted to give you a long-awaited Black Adam update regarding the character’s future in the new DC Universe,” Johnson began. “James Gunn and I connected, and Black Adam will not be in their first chapter of storytelling.” Although Johnson did assure there is still an open discourse around the future of his precious character, in other words, the door is still slightly ajar, for now at least. “However, DC and Seven Bucks have agreed to continue exploring the most valuable ways Black Adam can be utilized in future DC multiverse chapters,” he explained. Speaking to the decision, he added that the decisions made by James and DC leadership “represent their vision of DU through their creative lens.”

Johnson took a minute to celebrate the success of bringing Teth Adam’s narrative to life despite the discouraging news. After 15 years of nonstop effort to complete Black Adam, he remarked, “I’m quite proud of the film we provided for fans everywhere.” “I will always have a deep sense of appreciation, humility, and love for the response that Black Adam received from the public. We did quite well.”

The news comes just weeks after Henry Cavill’s Man of Steel 2 received an official farewell from fans, despite his unexpected mid-credits appearance in Rian Johnson’s Black Adam. As an alternative, DC head Gunn disclosed he was working on the tale of a youthful Kal-El. Additionally, there was a lot of buzz that Jason Momoa might not reprise his wildly popular role as Aquaman, which led to rumors that the entire DC Universe was being recast.

When Gunn responded to a fan tweet, he abruptly put an end to the allegations. “I constantly come across blogs that promote this false theory. Except for The Suicide Squad, we’re not recasting everyone “He composed. Even though the DC Universe seems to be in a more precarious situation than ever, Gunn and Safran are clearly committed to the universe’s characters, so only time will tell how everything comes together.
