Gisele Bündchen glistened in gold at her first public appearance after divorcing Tom Brady.  The supermodel was present at a gala honoring the 60th anniversary of the jewelry manufacturer Vivara on December 12 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Gisele wore a gold dress to the occasion and pulled her hair back into a high ponytail. She added a sparkling necklace and a set of drop earrings to complete her ensemble.

After 13 years of marriage, Gisele, 42, and Tom, 45, sued for and ultimately obtained a divorce in October. The former runway model and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback each posted comments on social media in which they said their divorces were amicable and in which they thanked one another for their time spent together. .

They said that they’ll keep raising their kids together as a team. Tom and Gisele are parents to Benjamin, 13, and Vivian, 10, as well as a son named Jack, 15, from the athlete’s former union with Bridget Moynahan. According to a source who spoke to News, Tom and Gisele decided to share custody of their children, and their followers have already noticed small indications of support for co-parenting on social media.

“My priority has always been and will continue to be our children whom I love with all my heart,” Gisele said in her statement about the divorce. “We will continue co-parenting to give them the love, care, and attention they greatly deserve.”

Tom and Gisele acknowledged that parting ways were a difficult decision, but they also expressed their good wishes for one another.

“The decision to end a marriage is never easy but we have grown apart,” she continued, “and while it is, of course, difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed for the time we had together and only wish the best for Tom always.”

In an interview for the October issue of ELLE, Gisele made a suggestion that they should each pursue their own happiness. She was talking about Tom’s choice to rejoin the NFL after having previously declared his retirement.

“Obviously, I have my concerns—this is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present,” she told the magazine in the interview, which was released in September. “I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again. But ultimately, I feel that everybody has to make a decision that works for [them]. He needs to follow his joy, too.”

Gisele also mentioned that she still has more objectives in mind. She continued, “I’ve done my bit, which is [to] be there for [Tom].” “I relocated to Boston and set my sights on building a safe haven and a loving atmosphere for my kids to develop in, as well as being there to support him and his aspirations. It makes me glad to see my kids flourish and grow into the lovely people they are, as well as to see him succeed and enjoy his work. I think I’ve done a fantastic job on that at this point in my life.”

She added, “I have a huge list of things that I have to do, that I want to do. At 42, I feel more connected with my purpose.”
