Justin Bieber criticized H&M on social media for carrying his stuff and insisted that they did so without his consent.

“I DIDN’T APPROVE ANY OF THE MERCH COLLECTION THAT THEY PUT UP AT H&M,” Bieber, 28, wrote via his Instagram Story on Monday, December 19. “All without my permission and approval SMH I WOULDN’T BUY IT IF I WERE YOU.”

The singer of “Baby” referred to the clothes as “crap” in a subsequent post, adding, “I DIDN’T APPROVE IT. AVOID BUYING IT.

The singer then advised fans not to buy the merchandise in a remark on a social media post from the Instagram account @jbiebertraacker, which had posted pictures of the merchandise.

“When everyone finds out I didn’t approve any of this merch smh,” he wrote.

A spokesperson for H&M said in a statement that the company “followed proper approval procedures, as with all other licensed products and partnerships.

Bustle reports that H&M had previously marketed apparel with Justin Bieber’s image on it. The business provided merchandise for Justin Bieber’s Purpose Tour in 2016 and the Justin Bieber Stadium Tour in 2017.

In 2019, Bieber debuted his own clothing line called Drew and offers it for sale on his official website. The “Love Yourself” singer was frequently seen wearing his own clothing after registering the name for trademark in February 2018.

The inaugural eight-piece collection featured largely unisex, ethically produced t-shirts, sweatshirts, and a few corduroy pieces. Other than the camel-colored corduroy pieces, the remainder of the goods ranged in price from $48 for a tee to $149 and were available in one of three colors: black, red, or golden yellow.

The “Peaches” singer originally called the line after his middle name, but in June 2019, he also made a collection of merchandise featuring Drew Barrymore. The 47-year-old never been kissed actress shared some of the items from her career on Instagram at the time.

One shirt that Bieber wore had a picture of Barrymore from the 1982 film E.T. The Ever After star’s face was visible in a later photograph.

Barrymore at the time captioned the Instagram photo, “Drew @drewhouse.”

In an effort to promote his clothing line, Bieber in April 2019 uploaded a memorial photo Diddy had published in honor of his late ex-girlfriend Kim Porter. This caused anger against Bieber’s brand.

The Grammy winner captioned the image with “@drewhouse #diddyfordrewhouse @diddy,” tagging both his company and the 49-year-old musician. KP, YOU WILL STILL BE REMEMBERED FOR THE STUNNING WOMAN YOU WERE ON THE INSIDE AND OUT.

Some of Justin Bieber’s fans immediately expressed their displeasure in the comments area. One person commented, “Delete this guy; he published this picture in honor of his wife, not to promote the clothing brand.” Yet another person commented: “How can one worry about or create a promotion for his brand while another grieves for his wife and the children over their rude mother?”

On his post a few hours earlier, Diddy remembered Porter, who passed away from lobar pneumonia at age 47 in November 2018. “I distinctly recall Kim flying to visit me while I was filming Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down. She traveled to LA via a 12-hour flight and then a 3-hour drive without any objections. Was always a case of ride or die,” the rapper penned. “Starting now! She was my “BONNIE,” and I was Clyde.

He continued, “This picture will go down in history as the first time I said she was MINE!!!! AND THE FIRST TIME I TOLD HER I LOVE HER, little did I know I was hers. I Miss you BONNIE ❤️ and will forever. Maaaaan life is beautiful to have had these experiences. Love you baby.”

The record company’s executive and Mama, I Want to Sing! A 13-year relationship between an actress and her ex-lover ended in 2007. Christian, 23, and the twin daughters Jessie James and D’Lila, 16, are the children of the ex-couple. Quincy, 27, was also raised by Porter and her ex-boyfriend Al B. Sure!
