Kevin Federline slams ex Britney Spears’ claim that he refused to see her when she was pregnant
Kevin Federline, Britney Spears' ex-husband, reacted angrily to the singer's claims that...
Barak has interviewed both Federline, 44, and Jamie, 70, in recent months, and she told the Mail on Sunday that the two men “are now speaking to each other once again” after a difficult period in their relationship.
Federline obtained a restraining order against Jamie in September 2019 after the Spears family patriarch allegedly abused his grandson Sean Preston, whom Federline shares with Britney.
While Jamie was not charged criminally, the protective order barred him from seeing Preston, 17, and the former couple’s other son, Jayden James, 16, for three years.
“I really, really miss my two boys. “I do,” Jamie said in his first interview in a decade to Barak. “We were extremely close… It has been a difficult three years without them.”
“All I can say is that most people don’t have a clue what the truth is,” Jamie said of his family.
Britney Spears, 41, accused her father of abuse before a Los Angeles judge terminated the “Hold Me Closer” singer’s conservatorship in November 2021, and the past few years have been turbulent for the Spears brood.
Jamie has denied wrongdoing, telling Barak that he does not “know if [Britney] would be alive” if he had not taken over her personal, medical, and financial affairs in February 2008, during the Grammy winner’s highly publicised personal struggles.
However, Britney and her legions of fans believe Jamie abused his conservatorship rights over his daughter and enriched himself with millions of dollars from her estate.
