Yes, she whistled while harmonizing with Mariah ever of the traditional carol “Away in a Manger.” The couple traded verses during the performance, which took place at the Scotiabank Arena, as Monroe showed that she may have simply picked up some skills from her Grammy-winning mother.
Mimi and Monroe, Moroccan’s twin sisters who Mimi shares with her ex-husband Nick Cannon, sat on stage in front of hundreds of people and sang the beloved hymn. They were surrounded by Christmas decorations. Mariah gave her daughter a tender kiss as she exited the stage and continued to look into her daughter’s eyes the entire time.

In a video that is currently trending on Twitter, Mariah’s daughter is heard receiving support from the crowd.
Of course, Monroe has previously performed on stage with Mariah. She and her brother used to perform “Always Be My Baby” with Mariah when they were kids as part of her #1 to Infinity Las Vegas residency and at a few other performances in 2017 and 2018. The youngsters need a lot more persuasion to sing back then, but with Carey’s assistance, Monroe is now beginning to find her voice.
Along with Monroe’s singing prowess, Carey is beginning to dress similarly like her mother. The pair hit the town in similar black ensembles and braided hair in October.
The “Big Energy” singer labelled the moment a “Mom/Daughter Duo Hair Extravaganza” on Twitter with some butterfly emojis and the hashtag “#TheHairTails.” The two displayed their curls in style with braids in the front and curls in the back.
Instagram fans remarked noticed the similarities in the pair’s appearances in the comments section of Mariah’s post, with musician Anastacia writing, “Mini Mimi” beneath one of the images.
