‘They Needed Time to Process’ Lindsie Chrisley

• Lindsie, 33, revealed in the most recent edition of her podcast.

Lindsie Chrisley said, “Emotions were very high at that point with my parents’ sentencing just a few days before Thanksgiving and me having Jackson for Thanksgiving, so I just didn’t feel it was in the best interest of Jackson for him to go and see my parents in any state that they normally aren’t, if that makes sense.”

Chrisley stated, “I very much struggled with giving up spending time with my parents and having to make a decision as a mother over a daughter like that. They needed time to digest and I wanted to be able to give them that time.

Jackson, Lindsie’s 10-year-old son, was a factor in her choice, she acknowledged, as were his actions.

“Jackson also differs greatly from my niece Chloe in many ways. For instance, if my parents instruct her to watch TV, she will do so, and you won’t even be aware that a child is present “explained Lindsie, whose ex-husband Will Campbell is the father of her son.

From the moment Jackson wakes up until the moment he goes to bed, it’s as though a whirlwind is sweeping through the house, she claimed. I had to make a difficult decision as a mother and I despise it to the core. With that type of energy swirling around, and then, you know, just not so fantastic news, that just wasn’t a healthy mix in my opinion.

On November 22, a federal judge convicted Julie, 49, and Todd, 53, for tax evasion and bank fraud. Julie was sentenced to seven years in prison and 16 months on probation, while Todd was given 12 years in prison.

Peter Tarantino, the former couple’s accountant, was also given a 36-month prison term for his participation in the fraud operation.
