Pregnant Keke Palmer said she ‘can’t wait to hold her baby

Keke Palmer, who is expecting, says she “can’t wait” to meet her child. At the New York Film Critics Circle Awards earlier this week, the “Hustlers” star gave an exclusive interview and said, “I’m extremely excited, nervous, and inquisitive more than anything because it’s one of those things that no one can really prepare you for.”

“More than anything, I can’t wait to get my hands on my baby,” she added.

The 28-year-old actress revealed that being pregnant has caused her to modify her pace. She is expecting her first child with partner Darius Jackson.

“I’m a naturally fast-paced person,” she explained. “For me, life is going at least 90 miles per hour, that’s me cruising. So yeah, I think in general, whether it’s the holidays or this transition I’m having in my life, slowing down is definitely not something that comes naturally to me.”

Although Palmer has been on our screens since she was a young kid, she acknowledged that she is amazed by her long-lasting career. Palmer was at the event to win the award for Best Supporting Actress for her part in “Nope.”

“Time flies it really does shock me when I think about how long I’ve been doing it but I really love it,” the “True Jackson, VP,” told news.

“I’m really so lucky that I found something I love to do so early and that I stuck with it even when it get hard because it definitely got hard and it doesn’t always pay to be an actor but I’m happy I stuck with it because it’s always given more to me than I feel I’ve been able to give it.”

The “Hustlers” actress revealed her pregnancy last month when hosting “Saturday Night Live” during her opening monologue.

Since announcing the wonderful news, Palmer has kept her followers informed of the progress of her pregnancy. She mentioned an unexpected benefit of having a child earlier this week, saying that it had made her acne problems go away.

“I’ve discovered the key to getting rid of my acne, and guess what it is? You must be beaten up. Period. Without a doubt. That’s it,” Palmer said.

“The reason my skin is clear is that I’m pregnant with a baby right now … The baby has cleared my skin up.”

“I’m about to be pregnant for the rest of my life,” she joked.
