Nicola Peltz’s father, Nelson Peltz sues wedding planners

According to reports, there was drama in addition to the dream wedding of Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham.

The millionaire father of the “Bates Motel” star, Nelson Peltz, reportedly sued Nicole Braghin and Arianna Grijalba for failing to return the $159,000 deposit he provided them.

Nelson, 80, is claiming in the case that in March 2022, he and his wife, Claudia Peltz, hired Grijalba and Braghin through their company, Plan Design Events.

The Peltz’s engaged the team six weeks before the star-studded wedding was scheduled to take place at the billionaire’s Palm Beach estate after parting ways with their initial wedding planner.

Grijalba and Braghin, however, decided against working with Nicola and Beckham after only nine days on the assignment because they could not manage the couple over the 500-person guest list.

According to the Daily Mail, the lawsuit claims that “the wedding planner had to have the expertise and staffing to plan, coordinate, and execute a wedding event of the expected calibre and complexity due to the celebrity of the wedding couple combined with the anticipated attendance of many high-profile guests.”

In the lawsuit, Nelson also included a few of the texts that his daughter is alleged to have sent to the wedding planners, including one in which the actress said she was “tired” of correcting their errors after they claimed Lewis Hamilton RSVP’d “yes” even though he had previously informed the couple that he would not be able to attend the wedding.

Lewis Hamilton allegedly neglected to RSVP, according to the “Transformers: Age of Extinction” actress,

“Lewis Hamilton did NOT RSVP. So explain why his names [sic] on the list please.”

“We spoke to him. He can’t come so explain why you said he rsvpd yes,” she added.

Grijalba made an attempt to justify her need for more time to familiarise herself with the app that housed the virtual guest list.

She is said to have written, “I need time to do this.” “I’m going to take the time to familiarise myself with the app before sending you the information; I detest making a fool of myself, but I detest making you wait for the most. I’ll return soon.

That’s not true, Nicola apparently responded, appearing annoyed. He absolutely did not RSVP.

In the lawsuit, Nelson added that the wedding coordinators had a drinking issue.

The “Last Airbender” actress allegedly responded, “Yes queen!!!!” to Grijalba’s post in the group chat that she was “going for a tequila before her head blew” one week before the RSVP conversation.

According to reports, Nelson is suing the two for their legal costs.
