Coronavirus in China-Pakistani students release a video message

Coronavirus-White House acknowledges they lack testing kits

Pakistani students in China made a video message in which students studying engineering and science university Wuhan have sought aid from Chinese and Pakistani officials.

Coronavirus in China has severely affected several lives.

Pakistani students have said in the video that more than 2 thousand Pakistani students studying in 12 universities in Wuhan are suffering from scarcity of food.

Students have also appealed to PM Imran Khan and Federal Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi to take the students from Wuhan.

Most of the Pakistani students suffering in Wuhan belong to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, and Punjab.

A great number of Pakistani students are studying in Engineering and science university Wuhan.

Note that communication between Wuhan and other cities of China has been disrupted due to the spread of contagious coronavirus.

Note that `Special Assistant on Health Dr. Zafar Mirza informed that all 500 Pakistani students in Wuhan are fine. He assured families of more than 500 students studying in Wuhan.

He said that no case of coronavirus is found in Pakistani students.

He said, “No case of coronavirus among them [Pakistanis students] and our Embassy is actively in touch with them.”

Furthermore, he also said that Pakistani students have been told about protective measures.

He said, “Be assured we are closely monitoring the situation,”

He also said, “Currently we are ruling out these on suspected samples,” “For novel Coronavirus primers are being procured. It may take three to four days.”

Note that the death toll in China has risen to 81 due to the deadly coronavirus. Around 3000 cases of SARS-like virus have been confirmed in China.
