The US President had given threats to attack the cultural sites of Iran.
Donald Trump mentioned that the troops can attack 52 recognized Iranian targets that are among the cultural sites. He said that they will be attacked if Iranians “torture, maim and blow up our people.”
However, the UK’s foreign secretary and the UN’s cultural organization were among those to indicate that such sites were secured.

On the contrary, the US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo assured that the decision will be taken as per international law.
