Coronavirus-Emergency measures extended in Italy

Italy has extended its emergency lockdown in the entire country as part of emergency coronavirus measures.

Public gatherings and travel have been banned in Italy.

Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte ordered people on Monday not to come out of their homes. Residents are ordered to ask for permission for essential travel.

Prime Minister said in a TV address about emergency measures, “There is no more time,”. He also warned that the measures have been taken to deal with the outbreak.

He added that the best thing was for people to stay at home.

“We’re having an important growth in infection… and of deaths,”

“The whole of Italy will become a protected zone,”

“We all must give something up for the good of Italy. We have to do it now.

“This is why I decided to adopt even more strong and severe measures to contain the advance… and protect the health of all citizens.”

Note that the death toll in Italy reaches 463 from 366 on Monday. In addition to this, the number of cases has also increased by 24%.

All 20 Italian regions contain coronavirus cases.

Note that 111,000 people are infected from coronavirus across the country whereas the death toll reaches 3,890.

On the other hand, the Israeli Prime Minister announced that everyone coming in Israel will be directed to self-quarantine for two weeks.

On the other hand, at least 237 people have died and 7,161 people have grabbed the virus.

China has also reported 40 new cases.

On the other hand, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Bangladesh is likely to be postponed as the event in which he was invited has been postponed.
