Massive protests were held in solidarity with Palestinians around the world, including in London, as well as in Muslim-majority countries including Pakistan, Kuwait, Oman, and Turkey.

According to the media reports, a large number of people staged a rally in the British capital London calling on their government to stop its support for the Israeli crimes against Palestinians.

Pro-Palestinian demonstrators took over Downing Street, the residence of Prime Minister Boris Johnson; in London and chanted in solidarity with the Palestinians uprising against the occupation, sending a strong message of international harmony.

Protestors also expressed their indignation over Britain’s allowing for the production of weapons to be used by the Israeli military and the UK’s historic support for Israel.

In Jordan, protesters gathered outside the Israeli embassy, burning Israeli flags and chanting “Shame, shame the embassy is still there” and “Death to Israel!”

Amnesty International has accused Israel of using “abusive and wanton force against largely peaceful Palestinian protesters.”

Waving the Palestinian green, black, red, and white flags, demonstrators marched through the streets of the city chanting “Free, free Palestine” and “Down Israel, down” causing traffic jams.

The demonstrations organized by a South African pro-Palestinian movement called Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions were also held in Johannesburg’s rich business district of Sandton.

Outrage is being voiced after Israel’s assault on the Al-Aqsa Compound in Jerusalem (Al-Quds), as well as the eviction of Palestinians from their homes in the neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah.
