It has been reported that VLADIMIR PUTIN’S supposed “mistress” has emerged with a “new appearance” similar to the puffy-looking president.

Alina Kabaeva, an Olympic gold medalist in gymnastics, was said to be “hiding out” in a Swiss chalet or a Siberian nuclear bunker.

However, she unexpectedly reappeared this week during a junior rhythmic gymnastics rehearsal in Moscow.

She was photographed at the city’s VTB Arena ahead of Saturday’s annual Alina Festival humanitarian event.

The photos generated rumours that she had received botox and fillers from the same cosmetic specialist as the puffy-looking Putin.

It comes after a slew of rumours that the despot is on steroids, with claims that he is suffering from a terrible disease.

“Something has truly altered in Kabaeva’s face,” Russian Cosmopolitan magazine observed.

“The great athlete looked significantly prettier,” they remarked.

“Alina Kabaeva is one of the most enigmatic and clandestine ladies in our nation,” the magazine said, implying that she is Russia’s unofficial first lady.

“The gymnast is practically never seen in public, does not [appear on] social media, and cannot be seen by chance on the street or in shopping malls.”

Tol’ko Nikomu, a Telegram channel, indicated that she and Putin have the same cosmetic surgeon.

“The family beautician’s handwriting is rather distinctive,” they commented.

Putin is said to have had a love relationship with the gymnast for almost a decade, dating back to her time as a member of Putin’s United Russia party.

There have been several tales of her wearing a wedding band, but no evidence of a marriage has been found.

Despite this, she is said to be married to Mad Vlad, 69, and has four children with him.

When Russia’s conflict with Ukraine broke out, the despot locked them up in “a very exclusive and highly safe house in Switzerland,” according to a source.

“Alina has two young boys and twin girls with Putin who were born in Switzerland,” the source added.

A petition demanding she was thrown out by the Swiss authorities garnered 75,000 signatures, demanding that “it’s time you reunite Eva Braun with her Führer”.

Between 2007 to 2014, Kabaeva, who posed practically naked for lads mag Maxim in 2004, was a member of the Russian Parliament.

Putin’s divorce with Lyudmila, a former Aeroflot hostess, was announced in 2013.

He earlier stated: “I have a private life that I do not allow anybody to mess with. It must be honoured.”

While Kabaeva has stated that she has found a partner whom she “loves very much,” she also gushed, “Sometimes you feel so joyful that you feel afraid.””

According to media accounts, her only other admirer has been a married Georgian policeman. She was formerly recognised as Russia’s most “eligible” and “flexible” lady.

Kabaeva, who owns National Media Group, one of Moscow’s most pro-Kremlin media outlets, has escaped Western sanctions.

Alexei Navalny, a jailed Putin adversary, has urged sanctions against her, claiming she should be treated as a “war criminal.”

He claims that Putin owns Kabaeva’s business, from which the putative mistress apparently receives £8 million a year.

Kabaeva’s photo mysteriously removed from the firm’s website earlier this month, and NMG provided no explanation.

After failing a drug test in 2001, Kabaeva was briefly barred from competing in rhythmic gymnastics.

She had won gold at the 2000 Summer Olympics a year before.
