Russia’s defence ministry on Friday published a video of an injured British man detained in Ukraine being questioned by unidentified Russian soldiers.
The man was seen with a bandaged left arm, a homemade bandage over his head, and blood on his right arm. His name was Andrew Hill, and he spoke with a British accent.

He surrendered to Russian soldiers in the Mykolaiv area of southern Ukraine, according to the Russian defence ministry. He claimed to be carrying a firearm.

The abducted guy informed his Russian interrogators that he was from Plymouth, England, and that he had four children and a spouse.
He claimed to have travelled on his own initiative to assist Ukraine. According to him, Russian soldiers stole his passport.

The Russians stated that he would be treated for his injuries, which looked to involve a gunshot wound of some sort.
