A man in Texas went to rob a home in police uniform

A Texas man spruced up as a cop to get inside a home to ransack individuals inside before he was subsequently captured, specialists said.

Salvatore Alfieri IV, 38, moved toward the home in Bexar County with a handgun, wearing a strategic “police” vest, ski cover, and policing on Sunday night when he persuaded somebody inside he was a San Antonio cop, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said.

He requested passage into the home, saying he worked for “probation” and expected to look for “booty,” Sheriff Javier Salazar said during a news meeting.

The casualty was a lady and her young youngster. Alfieri took the telephones so they couldn’t settle on any decisions and took a few thousand bucks in real money and a few individual things. The lady called the sheriff’s office still not certain assuming that the guilty party was actually a cop.

“He realized barely sufficient about the male that was not there around then to give the female a persuading story on why he was there,” Salazar said. “He was sure. He was OK with where he was at and what he was doing.”

Agents accept Alfieri was “frantic for cash” and that it was not his most memorable time committing a burglary.

He leased a vehicle through an application claimed by one more client to head to the home. The vehicle has since been gotten back to its proprietor, Salazar said.

“What drove us to him was that he was utilizing a vehicle that he had leased through an application call Turo,” Salazar said, the San Antonio Express-News detailed. “He leased a vehicle from an individual and by the vibe of it he utilized it only for this, so he didn’t need to utilize his own vehicle. Yet, we had the option to find him reasonably without any problem.”

Nobody in the house was hurt, specialists said. Alfieri has been accused of mimicking a community worker, thievery, unlawful restriction and impedance with a crisis call.
