Indonesian President Joko Widodo met with visiting Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on Monday to discuss bilateral ties and topics of common concern at the Presidential Palace in Bogor, West Java.
Albanese, along with many other ministers, arrived in Jakarta on Sunday on a three-day visit to explore ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation.

Widodo told reporters that he knew Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and that they had met in 2020.
“In general, I reiterate Indonesia’s consistent position that good relations between the two countries can contribute to regional peace and prosperity,” he stated.
