World Health Organization employee killed in Myanmar

• Myo Min Htut was killed on Wednesday night in Mawlamyine Township, Mon State.
• He was riding his motorcycle home after work, as per the World Health Organisation (WHO).

A driver for the World Health Organization in Myanmar was shot dead, according to his employer, who added that the circumstances of the incident were unknown.

Since Myanmar’s military launched a coup in February 2021, swaths of the country have been destroyed by deadly conflicts.

As per a local monitoring group, about 2,000 civilians have perished as a result of the subsequent savage crackdown on dissent.

As per the organisation, Myo Min Htut worked as a driver for nearly five years.

Their burned bodies were discovered on a highway in Kayah, a state in the eastern United States.
