As the West begins delivering long-range armaments to Ukraine, Russian rockets and missiles have bombarded cities, killing dozens, Kyiv says.

“It is not only missile strikes from the air and sea,” a Ukrainian military intelligence spokesman said Saturday. “There’s shelling along the entire front line. Tactical aviation and attack helicopters are used.

“Clearly preparations are now underway for the next stage of the offensive.”

The Ukrainian military said it looked like Russia was getting ready to attack Sloviansk, which is a key city to the east of Donetsk.
