Tony Garnett who left his wife Lorna Garnett for Ukrainian refugee Sofiia Karkadym invites another woman to share home

Another young woman from the country’s war-torn region has moved in with a father of two who previously left his husband for a Ukrainian refugee they were sheltering.

After only 10 days, former security guard Tony Garnett, 29, fired his partner Lorna Garnett, the mother of their two girls, in favour of Sofiia Karkadym.

The unemployed father described how he fell in love with the 22-year-old at first sight and has since promised to marry her despite how it will “shatter” his family.

Amazingly, the father now shares a house in Bradford, West Yorks, with Sofiia Rastorhuieva, 19, and her partner Illia Tronevych, 18.

According to the Daily Mail, Tony took in the pair after learning from a Facebook appeal that they had been ejected from their host family’s residence in the same city.

Hate rat “I know people regard me as this sort of cheeky chappy who bounces from bed to bed since I left my partner Lorna and two girls,” Tony said in a statement to the Mail.

Nothing is falseer than it appears.

Their prior hosts, according to new roommate Sofiia, only allowed them sleep on a little sofa bed and made them do the dishes, the laundry, and the cleaning.

Added her: “I appreciate Tony and Sofiia coming to assist us. We were not happy at all there. Our options were limited.”

Illia, Tony’s boyfriend, also gave him appreciation for welcoming the couple into his house.

But he said that they are in a precarious situation since they have “no prospect” of obtaining a credit or debit card and are scrambling to find employment.

With two more Ukrainians living with them, Tony’s fiancée Sofiia said, “I don’t feel so lonely and miss home.”

The father of two says that when he left with Sofiia, his relationship with ex-Lorna, 28, had already ended.

Additionally, he has admitted that leaving with the Ukrainian lost him his job and means of subsistence.

We’re planning the rest of our lives together, the heavily tattooed father previously told The Sun.

“We’re sorry for the pain we’ve caused but I’ve discovered a connection with Sofiia like I’ve never had before.”

Sofiia, who fled the city of Lviv at the start of the Ukraine war, admitted: “As soon as I saw him I fancied him.

This is our love story, however it has happened very quickly. Although I am aware that they will, it still happens. I could see Tony was upset.

On Sunday, ex-Lorna stated in an interview with The Sun: “She set her sights on Anthony from the outset, decided she wanted him, and she snatched him.

I find it incomprehensible that he would sacrifice all of that for a lady he has only met for two weeks. The existence I knew is destroyed.

“I would never discourage someone from accepting migrants. People like me will want to have the compassion to aid those in need because of the turmoil in Ukraine.

It occurs as Sofiiia, who was in route to the UK from Germany, contracted an eye illness.

It happened when she was suing him in court over claims that he had texted her abusively.

He is not allowed to call, text, email, or connect with Lorna on social media.
