An inquiry into the death of an American woman who passed away while on holiday in Mexico with friends has been launched by the FBI in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Her father, Bernard Robinson, Revealed on Friday that Shanquella Robinson and six other people came in Cabo San Lucas on October 28. The family is still attempting to put together what happened to the 25-year-old less than 24 hours after she passed away.

Very little information has been disclosed by the Mexican government. The FBI and Cabo San Lucas police have stated that they are looking into the death in separate releases.

A representative for the U.S. State Department stated: “We extend the family’s profound condolences for their loss. We are unable to discuss further at this time out of respect for their privacy.”

The family was informed by Bernard Robinson, 58, daughter’s pals that she had passed away from alcohol poisoning, but he isn’t persuaded that’s the case. He claimed she had facial bruising when her body returned to the United States.

“I sobbed uncontrollably. He said, “Deep down in my heart I knew it wasn’t alcohol poisoning. When I opened that box and saw her there, she had a knot on the corner of her head, her lip was sliced, and her eye was bulging.”
