Abu Dhabi‘s Department of Municipalities and Transport, through the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC), has released details regarding the operating hours of its customer happiness centers, parking facilities, toll gates, and public buses for the UAE’s 52nd Union Day Holiday.

Parking

Starting from Saturday, December 2, 2023, until 7:59 am on Tuesday, December 5, MAWAQiF parking fees will be waived. Furthermore, during the official holiday, parking at the Musaffah M-18 truck parking lot will also be free of charge.

The ITC emphasizes the importance of avoiding prohibited parking areas and discourages behavior that may disrupt traffic flow. Drivers are urged to park responsibly in designated areas and to refrain from parking in residential spaces between 9 pm and 8 am.

Bus services

Regarding public bus services and schedules in the emirate of Abu Dhabi during the holiday, the ITC has confirmed that buses will adhere to the weekend and official holiday schedule. Additionally, there will be extra regional and intercity trips, including additional services to facilitate transportation for passengers attending the Union Day holiday events at the Sheikh Zayed Festival.

Customer’s happiness centers

The ITC’s Customer Happiness Centers will be closed from Saturday, December 2, and will resume operations on Tuesday, December 5. However, customers can continue to access ITC services online through the official website (www.itc.gov.ae), Darbi, Darb websites and apps, and the “TAMM” platform for digital government services in Abu Dhabi.

For assistance, customers can reach out to the unified Service Support Centre of the Department of Municipalities and Transport at 800850 or the Taxi Call Centre at 600535353, both available 24/7.
