Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed on Friday dubbed Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) rally at Rawalpindi’s Liaquat Bagh a dud.

Sheikh Rasheed stated that People’s Party did a flop show at Liaquat Bagh and they even failed to fill Liaquat Bagh despite investing hugely in today’s Liaquat Bagh rally.

He also gave a free advise to People’s Party chairman Bilawal to change his speechwriter as Bilawal Bhutto totally failed to deliver a good speech, Sheikh Rasheed added.

Federal Minister for Communications and Postal Services, Murad Saeed also panned the Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto’s speech and said that he was disappointed while heard the politician speech.

The federal Minister said that while standing at the place of his mother’s martyrdom Bilawal Bhutto was trying to defend his father’s corruption.

Benazir Bhutto being remembered on her 12th death anniversary

Earlier today, chairperson of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP)  Bilawal Bhutto Zardari addressed the  first public gathering in Liaquat Bagh since Benazir Bhutto’s assassination there in a gun and bomb attack on Dec 27, 2007.

Party workers and supporters warmly welcomed Bilawal Bhutto on his arrival in the venue.

While Ddressing Bilawal stated that Zulfiqar Bhutto Shaheed saved a broken country, Bhutto made the country a nuclear power and raised Kashmir issue globally.

Bilawal further stated that Benazir Bhutto has been electeted Prime Minister of this country twice and she gave the Nation a missile technology.

Benazir  was deported twice and got killed in a Bomb blast, Bilawal Added.

Bilawal said after the assassination of Benazir Bhutto, President Zardari raised the slogan of Pakistan and President Zardari fulfilled the promise of Benazir Bhutto of the 18th Amendment.

Bilawal was received by the police at Faizabad from where he was brought to Liaquat Bagh under box security in his bulletproof vehicle. The same route and security pattern would be followed on his return and he would not come out of his car at any point, Rawalpindi PPP President Babar Jadoon said.

Some 20,000 chairs have been set up for people who have arrived to attend the mass gathering from across the country.

Security was tightens, walk-through gates and the CCTV cameras have been installed at entry points of the venue.

Metal detectors were used to search all the entrants. The people’s security performed security in Liaquat Bagh while the police was present outside the ground for ensuring security.
