In the current lockdown scene, it is hard not to binge eat and binge watch entertainment shows to defeat boredom. While some people are becoming a couch potato, there are fitness fanatics too who aim to come out of lockdown with a healthier body.
Being physically active is incredibly beneficial in numerous ways. It keeps you fit and energetic. Plus, it facilitates your mental health too which is somewhat affected due to the global pandemic and being stuck at home.

Exercise for 2-3 hours a week
You don’t need to make hardcore efforts to be fit in the lockdown. Just ensure you dedicate at least 2-3 hours of moderate exercise in a week. You need to incorporate one and a half hours of intensive exercise weekly as well. Fitness experts encourage you to consider muscle strengthening exercises for two days in a week. If you take part in house chores instead of lying or sitting consistently, it will keep help your health on track too.
Do more than jogging
Jogging or running might not be a possibility for everyone. But, you can still opt for a treadmill to keep your heart rate up. There is an option for interval training if you want to challenge yourself.
Go for a moderate-intensity workout
Moderate intensity workout is ideal to add a little bit of physical activity into your routine without making efforts. A brisk walk, dancing and cycling are a perfect example of such workouts.
