Japan’s government will give USD 250,000 to Pakistan to fight coronavirus.
According to the details, Japan will provide the money through the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) to help Pakistani people.
Mr. MATSUDA Kuninori, The Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan appreciated the effort of Pakistanis against the deadly coronavirus outbreak.
He further said that Japan decided to support Pakistan in the fight against COVID-19.
Pakistani businessman in Japan donates 16 ventilators for Pakistan
Earlier on March 30, A Pakistani businessman, who deals in medical equipment in Japan, has offered to donate 16 ventilators for Pakistan.
The Pakistan Embassy in Tokyo said in a statement today that the mission is in contact with Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Disaster Management Authority to make arrangements for transportation of the ventilators by air to the country.
The statement also said the mission is also trying to arrange masks and protective gear.
Pakistan is also suffering the outbreak of global pandemic #COVID19, a disease in which the patient needs a ventilator (life-saving Machine support).
