Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Corps Headquarters Karachi and Pakistan Rangers Sindh today (Jul 2).
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), during the visit to the Corps Headquarters and Rangers Headquarters in Karachi, the Army Chief was also briefed on internal security and operational matters.
It is to be noted that Corps Commander Karachi Lieutenant General Humayun Aziz received COAS.
Talking to the Army personnel at the Corps Headquarters, the Army Chief said that they should be vigilant in tackling the challenges ahead.
COAS expressed satisfaction over intelligible response by Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) in ensuring peace in Karachi and paid tribute to LEAs for countering nefarious designs of enemies.
He also visited Garrison Health and diagnostic Centre and Field Isolation Centre. COAS lauded the support rendered by Formation in national response against coronavirus.
Chief of Army Staff laid floral wreath at Shahuada monument and offered Fathia on arrival at Headquarters Sindh Rangers.
Earlier, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited National Defense University (NDU) in Islamabad today (Jun 25).
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the COAS addressed the participants of National Security and War Course. He also discusses security situation in the region and lasting peace in Pakistan.
The sources said that Army Chief also spoke on internal and external challenges facing national security.
