The shocking incident took place on the banks of Saleh Pat Nara Canal where a crocodile swallowed an 8-year-old girl.
Residents said the crocodile was more than 16 feet long and after swallowing the baby, the crocodile disappeared into the water.
Wildlife department sources say there are more than 300 crocodiles in the Nara Canal, a delta channel built on the left bank of the Indus River in Sindh, so people should avoid going there.
