World Wide Fund for Nature-Pakistan (WWF Pakistan) has stated that the planned development work on the Indus River could be detrimental to the Indus Dolphin.
According to the details, WWF Pakistan says that due to development works, the dolphin habitat is limited and now it is found only in the Indus River.
They said that earlier Indus dolphins were found in the rivers Sutlej, Beas, Ravi and Jhelum of Pakistan but development works have wiped out the inhabitants of dolphins in these rivers.
