Coronavirus: 33 patients died, 1,315 new cases reported

Coronavirus cases are again surging as 1,315 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours.

Moreover, 33 Covid-19 patients passed away, the death toll has reached 12,837 so far.

According to the latest data by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), the number of positive cases has reached 578,797 whereas 544,406 patients have recovered. Over 1,538 are in critical condition. Over 39,086 tests have been conducted in the last 24 hours.

There are 257,730 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Sindh, 170,817 in Punjab, 72,003 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 44,106 in Islamabad, 19,038 in Balochistan, 10,147 in Azad Kashmir, and 4,956 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

On the other hand, 5,337 patients have died in Punjab, 4,335 in Sindh, 2,070 in KP, 496 in Islamabad, 297 in Azad Kashmir, and 102 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
