Noor Muqaddam Murder: Celebrities demand #JusticeForNoor

The brutal beheading of Ex-diplomat’s daughter Noor Mukaddam has sparked outrage on Twitter. Twitter is currently filled with posts from people shocked at the murder of Noor.

On Tuesday 20 July, the 27-year-old Noor Muqaddam, the daughter of the former ambassador, was brutally killed in Islamabad by Zahir Zamir Jaffer, son of Zakir Jaffer.  According to the report filed, Noor was slaughtered after being shot at. Twitter is fuming with rage on this cold blooded murder of a young girl.

Celebrities are also in shock and actor Osman Khalid Butt has assured that he will not stop screaming until the family of the victim gets justice.

He added ” It is difficult to celebrate this Eid, knowing the utterly barbaric murder that took one of this city’s brightest, best souls from us. If you’re reading this, please take a moment to pray for Noor and her family. Allah ham sab ko apne hifz-o-amaan mai rakhay.”

Khush Raho Pakistan host and actor Faysal Qureshi asked how many murdered women will it take for justice to finally be served. “The hashtags change but the barbarism remains the same. Jawad Ahmad also tweeted, “#JusticeForNoor Noor was shot at and then beheaded by a man. Those who rejected Women Protection Bill, including shameless Imran Khan,are the culprits. When a misogynist PM says that rapes by non robotic men are a result of dresses women wear, these incidents are bound to increase.”
