Former Sindh CM Qaim Ali Shah has been tested positive for coronavirus, his daughter Nafisa confirms.
On her Twitter account, Nafisa stated that Qaim was tested positive for the virus a few days back.
“He has all the symptoms and is undergoing treatment and care at home under supervision of team of doctors. Pls pray for his good health and speedy recovery,” she tweeted.

It happened at the time when Sindh is facing the fourth wave of coronavirus. There has been a rise in the number of daily cases over the past few weeks.
The Sindh government has imposed lockdown throughout the province till August 8 with strict restrictions to slow down the spread of the virus.
67 More Died as the Fourh Wave Continues
In the last 24 hours, 67 new coronavirus deaths have been reported, taking the death toll to 23,529 on Tuesday.
Qaim Ali Shah tested positive for the virus during the ongoing fourth wave.
Furthermore, 3,582 new coronavirus cases have been reported in the last 24 hours according to the data provided by National Command and Control Centre (NCOC).
The current positivity ratio in Pakistan is 7.19% with 73,373 active cases.
According to the data revealed by NCOC, at least 49,798 tests have been conducted out of which 3,582 have been tested positive.
So far 682,290 people have been recovered from the virus.
Furthermore, in the last 24 hours, 1,355 people have recovered from the virus, taking the tally up to a total of 944,375, while the total number of cases have hit 1,043,277.
Looking at the province-wise data; Sindh has reached 387,261 patients, 145,306 in KPK, 358,387 in Punjab, 88,344 in Islamabad, 30,627 in Balochistan, 25,034 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 8,318 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
